Team Ninja Members Leaving Tecmo
Word is that key members of Team Ninja -- as many as three dozen or more -- are headed out the door as well, but that's not all. It seems that each one of the soon to be ex-ninjas will be serving Tecmo with a class-action lawsuit in regards to unpaid bonuses for completed games.
While Tecmo has said, "Tecmo would like to assure its loyal fans that Team Ninja, known for its top-selling and critically acclaimed Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive franchises, is intact and, as a matter of fact, has several new projects already underway,"
This is getting ugly.......

The Florida Supreme Court has found Jack Thompson guilty on 27 of 31 professional misconduct charges. Four of the misconduct charges Thompson was found guilty of were related to his attempt to have Rockstar's Bully declared a public nuisance.

- Knowingly disobeying an obligation under the rules of a tribunal
- Communicating the merits of the case with a judge before whom the proceeding is pending
- Using means that have no purpose other than to embarrass, delay or burden a third person
- Engaging in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
- Engaging in conduct in connection with the practice of law that is prejudicial to the administration of justice, including to knowingly or through callous indifference disparage or humiliate litigants or other lawyers
- Making statements that the lawyer knows to be false or with reckless disregard as to the truth or falsity concerning the qualifications or integrity of a judge

Uwe Boll Interview
I must say, Uwe Boll is a stand up guy. He took time out of his day to talk with us...
ConsoleTECH: How did you begin your career as a director?
Uwe Boll: I made German Fried Movie, a German comedy like Kentucky Fried Movie, in 1991... with 60,000 German Marks and on 35mm.
CT: What was the first movie you ever directed?
UB: German Fried Movie.
CT: You invited your "critics" into the boxing ring with you and you clobbered the shit out of them. If you could have had one other person in the ring, who would it be?
UB: Michael Bay... for Pearl Harbour.
CT: What was the first video game ever played?
UB: Asteroids. I was addicted.
CT: What is the video game that influenced you the most?
UB: Silent Hill.
CT: What are you playing now?
UB: Only Postal and soon my own game Tunnelrats.
CT: If you could cast yourself as any video game character, who would it be?
UB: Max Payne.
CT: You recently completed the Postal movie, how did enjoy that project?
UB: It's my best movie. It's rediculous, rutherless, super hard.
CT: With the petition to have you stop directing, are you going to stop directing?
UB: Of course, especially now the gum company is paying everybody... I'm kidding... My pro-Boll petitions show that there are also fans.
CT: If there is anything you can tell your fans around the world, what is it?
UB: Don't listen to bullshit. Believe in what you experience for yourself.
CT: Also, for your Canadian fans, when can we look forward to Posta opening?
UB: May 23. One screen in Toronto, one in Vancouver... Hopefully it will grow from there.
Once again thank you Uwe!
