Forza 2 problems?

Seems Forza 2 might have a little problem, well big enough that I've stopped playing due to fear of losing my saved game!
My friend called me couple of days ago telling me that his forza 2 file wouldn't load, after he spent two straight days on the phone with MS, and test after test, he found this forum post on the forza 2 forums.

"Well i bought Forza here in the UK the day it came out, been playing it quite a while until now, when my Saved Game on my HDD doesnt load anymore, this happened after i put a car up for auction and my game FROZE! when doing it, so now it wont load up anymore and i just get stuck on the first screen when i try and load it and all it says is

Saving game data... and just wont load on

Help please anyone!

I dont want to start again as im lv 42 and have done a lot of races and got a lot of money worth of cars with special paint jobs etc and i dont really want to loose them.

"Forza Motorsport 2 fixing random bugs and completing some general game maintenance. Big changes include the temporary ban of the overpowered Lotus Elan, a deny on gifting or reselling of cars with locked paintjobs, and the removal of the host option to boot players. Other update fixes include the rotation of cars in the auction house and various scoreboard fixes."


Well, no word yet if it takes care of your saved game taking a nose dive six feet under..We will keep you all posted...

I find myself backing up the save file on a daily basis, which isn't healthy.

...I only have ONE achievement to get on the game and thats the 1,000,000 (yawn) online credits, so the last thing I want is a save failing to load!!!

...Come on T10, stop worrying about paint job's and start focusing on real problems.
